Laurent Gouzènes

With more than 30 years’ professional experience in innovation and research, Laurent was technical and scientific director of several companies, including 18 years as Plan and Study Programs director within STMicroelectronics, with responsibility for developing relations with laboratories, collaborative programs (>60 projects per year), competitiveness hubs, and the implementation of the major programs. He was in charge of piloting Crolles 2 and Rousset 2000 plant projects.

Specialized in Research Tax Credit (first report achieved in 1987), he was in charge of the implementation and coordination of RTC, for all STMicroelectronics group (4000 professionals in R&D in France).

He is also scientific advisor for the Parliament and is Chairman of the MEDEF’s innovation funding committee, in charge of the RTC. He was also jury president of the nanotechnologies at the ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche) and former president of the Committee for Economy of the FIEEC.

Laurent also took part in many conferences, animating and organizing them (ex. ANR – nanotechnology, MEDF/mathematics). He regularly represents the MEDEF in conferences related to RTC, Research and Innovation, doctors and national research strategy.
